About Personal Fitness & Nutrition

Jackie Christiansen may be considered a "pioneer" in the fitness industry. She has been involved in fitness since before it was in style and was even responsible for the first co-ed high school weight lifting class. Actually her fitness story starts many years before that, with a little girl watching her dad workout in their family's garage every night after dinner. The equipment was by no means up to standard, in fact her first dumbbells were bought from a garage sale and made from a dowel and small block of concrete on either side. Growing up in an athletic family, fitness just sort of rubbed off on her and her love of fitness has continued for decades.

Jackie began her personal training business in 2001 and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE). She is also a certified Sports Nutritionist, a Child and Adolescent Nutritionist and is CPR certified. Aside from her own business both here and in Europe, her credentials also include being a top Personal Trainer at Gold's Gym in Tyson's Corner, Virginia and a champion bodybuilding/figure competitor. Her years of experience as both a trainer and a fitness competitor, allows her the diversity to train others to be their absolute best.

Jackie's love of fitness and health come together in helping individuals meet their own goals. Each fitness and nutritional program is designed specifically with each client in mind. No two individuals are alike, nor are their workout plans.
